Let’s Talk Mamajuana

Mamajuana has been part of the Dominicans for centuries. Mamajuana comes from the english word Demijohn, and this descends from the French word dame-jeanne* which refers to a large squat bottle with a short narrow neck, and is the container originally used to prepare and store the maceration.
